I would like some input on this from fellow 16V owners. I love my super anatomic MOMO shift knob, however it just doesn't work in the 16V. The reason for this is the shifter is so narrow, and MOMO as do most aftermaket shift knobs, use three allen screws to tighten down on the shifter. Well this doesn't work because the 16V shifter is so narrow. I have tried everything to make it thicker short of welding on a new shifter. Nothing works for more than a week or so, then the MOMO shift knob works loose again. When I got my second 16V it came with an aftermarket shift knob that screws on just like the OE one. It is a carbon fiber one and I don't particularly like it. I have no idea who makes it but would like to find one designed like the MOMO, but that screws on like the OE one. Any help would be greatly appreciated, since I can't have a shift knob coming loose on me at the track. Thanks in advance.
