Well i have a 81 380 SL that needs help the trans shifts very wierd (this one takes off in first) from first to second, it barks the tires, and then slips very bad from second to third and slips again from third to forth. I have the trans out of the car at the moment and the eng also, to put the new double row chain, this one still had the single chain in it. and had not broke YET!!!

Plese help if you can!!??

Mine traney is has bad front seals and does what your are describing in 1 to 2 it is fine once i just add more tranny fluid you might want to try it
