I want to find out if someone makes a transmission valve body for a 1990 300ce.I would like it to start in first gear consistently since I really don't like having to put my foot to the floor in '2'to access first gear.

The way that works is by closing a switch that is located below the accelerator pedal. I have oftem wondered what would happen if you wired a switch to it then had the switch on your shifter so you could easily access it???? Just a thought.

I believe the tuners. (AMG, Brabus, Renntech, Lorinser, usual suspects) make a 1st gear start valve body. I think it runs about $1,350 from Renntech. Of course, there is also "tricking" the tranny switch but...

I notice some version of 190E come with
the E/S switch next to the gear knob,
what does this switch control ? Is the
benzmac suggestion applicable in this case ?
Thanks

Hi..
well...
I think..I know that switches...
E is stand for Economy, the car will start in 2nd gear for smooth driving and gas efficiency...and S.. I think is stand for Sport. It will start in 1st and will change gear in a higher rpm. This'S' is more sporty drive.
Thats it I think...
