I just took my 190e for its first visit to the mechanic and found a great place for service.

Star Motor Co. on Bees Ferry Rd absolutely went the extra distance for me. I took the baby in for a 4 wheel alignment. The tech gave her the once over and noticed a few minor problems, which he fixed on the spot without charging me at all. This included a potential disaster with a missing insert on the shifter that could have left me stranded and unable to start the car had the other one decided to come out.

When they found out the lower control arm bushings needed replacing before they could align it they went ahead and rebalanced and rotated my wheels for the same price as an alignment.

Very clean shop and very curtious folks.
I am not that easy to impress, and they impressed me big time.

Well, you hate to think things are too good to be true, but I have some bad news. Just took the baby in for some standard checks on the vacuum and climate control because the climate control had been a little squirrelly lately and unfortunately they put some kid on my car who could not put 2 and 2 together about Climate control and vacuum. He checked engine vacuum and that was it. Of course there was not problem with the engine vacuum, common sense should have told him to check the vacuum associated with the climate control. Instead he opted for the standard "looks like you had some leakage around the compressor pulley". This kid did not even have his basic AC cert. I sent a complaint to the owner and they have obviously elected to blow me off so I am afraid I can no longer recommend these people.
